Introduction
These prestigious awards recognise the continuing excellence of financial services institutions, market infrastructures, technology firms, service providers, and industry bodies across the Asia-Pacific region who ensure the highest compliance standards are upheld despite an ever-changing and increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
With the help of our esteemed panel of industry leading experts serving as judges, our Awards programme also recognises individual project implementations and industry initiatives that have helped to shape the regulatory landscape in Asia-Pacific over the course of the year.
As with previous years, our team ensure the Awards categories incorporate themes relevant to today’s regulatory landscape, such as increasing focus on fast-growing areas such as ESG and digital assets. In addition, we have split out awards for consultants, law firms and advisory services into their respective categories so more suitable comparisons can be made.
Our awards judges will evaluate, challenge and grade the submissions in each category, helping us to ensure a robust and fair process for all entrants. It is thanks to these industry experts that we continue to be considered the most rigorous and comprehensive Awards programme for the risk, regulatory, and compliance community in the Asia-Pacific region.

2023 Judges
Regulation Asia prides itself on conducting a thorough awards review process. To complement the work of our editorial and research teams, we have selected a number of senior industry participants to serve on a judging panel to help during the review process. Our selection takes into account their involvement in the regulatory compliance domain, along with their exposure to the technology and services firms, in most cases having first hand experience from a practitioner’s perspective.
We would like to thank our esteemed judges for their participation in this year’s awards.
Submission Process
Entrants are allowed to apply for multiple categories, in separate submissions. Our evaluation team reserves the right to assess the submissions for their suitability in each category, and decide to have them judged in a different or, in some cases, multiple categories. Not all awards categories will have a winner declared.
Depending on the number and diversity of submissions received, some categories may be split off into subcategories and evaluated separately based on the specific regulatory requirements being addressed, and the types of firms providing solutions.
To encourage submissions, we do not ask for exhaustive detail of your projects at the entry stage, but we may later request additional information, seek responses to questions from judges, or request interviews with entrants.
All submissions will need to be sent in via the online form, which also supports file uploads to allows entrants to supply any documentation in support of their submissions.
